AUTUMN BREEZES
I love the breeze of autumn
As it blows through my hair
I love the changing colours
And leaves falling everywhere.
I love the breeze of autumn
That first hint of a changing season
I love the river swiftly flowing
I love the rhyme and reason.
I love the breeze of autumn
The colours red and gold
Nature in her glory
Strong and very bold.
I love the breeze of autumn
The shortening of the days
I love the lengthening shadows
Bringing joy in so many ways.
I love the breeze of autumn
Like a friend’s warm embrace
I love the breeze of autumn
And the raindrops on my face.
I love the breeze of autumn
Nature’s creatures gathering in store
Food for long cold and dreary days
As winter knocks upon our door.
I love the breeze of autumn
And my heart gives thanks indeed
For loving care and tenderness
Which makes me rich indeed.
