CHANGES OF THE SEASONS

In the Fairy Garden 

The seasons now are changing

and busy Fairy folk

Will soon be rearranging.

 

Spring flowers are now blooming

and fragrance fills the air

Fairy garden beds all tidy

and tended with such care.

 

It is a busy time for Fairies

As they flit from here to there.

Sweeping away the cobwebs

As they extend their care.

 

But they have Fairy relatives

On the other side of the world

Who now will face a winter

With petals and leaves all curled.

 

Some of you farewell winter

and hope for warmer days,

Such special times in the garden

For all your fairy ways.

 

Some Fairies now are flitting

Among the summer's last blooms

Making way to sweep away the leaves

With their little Fairy brooms.

 

So if you are a fairy 

With summer on the way,

Enjoy each day of warmth 

And every summer day.

 

But if the days are shortening for you

And winds are strong and cold

Be safe my little Fairy friend ~

Enjoy your days of gold.

 

To all the little Fairy folk

Who bring to us such pleasure

Enjoy the changing of the seasons

And always the memories treasure.
