I AM WITH YOU

I AM WITH YOU

I am with you in the morning
In the birds first song,
I am with you in the sun’s first light ~
I am with you all day long.

I am with you as you travel
In the haste of every day,
You will feel my very presence
In the sun’s last ray.

I am with you in the sparkle
Of a diamond studded sky,
I hear your every wish,
And I see you cry.

I watch you as you try to sleep,
Then when exhaustion takes control
I am there to shelter you,
To heal your wounded soul.

I am in the winter wind,
The leaves of autumn’s chill,
In the daffodils in springtime ~
The blossoms on the hill.

My presence will be with you
In the cool of a summer breeze,
I am watching over you
On days such as these.

I am with you as the ocean
Laps against the shore,
As the Seabirds soar and fly
Then land again once more.

I shall reach out to you
In the words of a much loved song ~
A stirring piece of music,
As you hurry right along.

A fragrance will keep me close,
And you shall feel me near,
I am with you now and always
Because I hold you dear.

SPECIAL THOUGHTS ON FRIENDSHIP

SPECIAL THOUGHTS ON FRIENDSHIP

The fragrance of your friendship
Adds a sweetness to my days,
Reminding me how blessed I am
To know your sweet and kindly ways.

You bring such joy to my heart,
To my days and my life,
Sharing my happy times
And shielding me from strife.

You have shared so much with me
Of the things that stir your soul,
I have tried to encourage you
And help you to feel whole.

Our friendship's grown and blossomed
Just like the wild spring flowers
The music that we often share
Brings joy to many hours.

I wish you a flower strewn pathway,
A gentle summer breeze,
The perfume of a summer rose
On special days like these.

A diamond studded sky be yours
As moonbeams dance below,
The touch of a gentle hand ~
Letters from someone you know.

The pleasure of digging in damp soil,
Planting and weeding and tilling,
All the fruits of the harvest
And baskets you are filling.

Strong arms to hold and love you,
A special gentle smile,
The quiet hush of evening,
When you have walked a weary mile.

A welcome at your doorway
A table fully spread,
Summer evenings in the garden,
Contentment to fill your head.

A quiet chair at end of day,
A warm and comfortable bed
A soft and downy pillow
Where you can lay your head.

These are the gifts of friendship
And I tie them with ribbons of love,
I quietly ask that you are blessed
With gifts from heaven above.

EVERYDAY MIRACLES

EVERYDAY MIRACLES

Everyday miracles ~ a sky of blue
The changing of the seasons,
Walking in the park
Understanding the reasons.

Everyday miracles ~ a smile from your face
A special kind word, the touch of a hand.
Food on my table, a cosy warm bed
Seeing the way things are planned.

Every day miracles ~ a call from a friend,
Just checking to see all is fine,
Love and affection – everyday miracles
These blessings are mine.

Everyday miracles ~ kindness and trust
Tenderness and care,
Encouragement and support
Everyday miracles – so that “I dare.”

Everyday miracles – sunrise and sunset
Soft breezes on cool autumn days,
Everyday miracles – watching and seeing
The summer heat haze.

Everyday miracles – laughter and fun
Rest after weariness the wiping of tears,
Someone to share
The depth of my fears.

Everyday miracles – friends sharing
The journey I take, to hear me when I call,
Everyday miracles
Lifting me up when I fall.

Every moment should be cherished
For they are surely there,
Those everyday miracles
Around us everywhere.
